Privacy policy

Tee Bee Motorcycles (trading as TeeBeeMX) of 33 Fountain Street, Morley, Leeds LS27 9AE is the data controller for personal information collected through this website. If you have any questions about this policy or your data, email us at hello@teebeemx.com.

We only collect the information we need to run the shop:

• Orders. When you buy from us we collect your name, email address, delivery address and details of what you ordered, so that we can take payment, deliver your order and handle any returns. The legal basis is the contract between us.
• Payment. Card payments are handled entirely by Stripe. We never see or store your card number; we receive only confirmation that payment succeeded and a reference for refunds.
• Enquiries. If you contact us through the site, by email or by phone, we keep your message and contact details for as long as needed to deal with your enquiry. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in responding to you.
• Newsletter. If you sign up to our mailing list we store your email address and use it to send occasional news and offers. The legal basis is your consent, and you can withdraw it at any time using the unsubscribe link in any email or by contacting us.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for profiling.

Your information is shared only with the service providers we use to run the site and fulfil orders:

• Stripe, which processes payments securely.
• Supabase, which hosts our order and customer database.
• Vercel, which hosts the website itself.
• Royal Mail and courier partners, who receive your name and address in order to deliver your parcel.

Each provider only receives the information it needs, and processes it under its own security and privacy commitments. Some providers may store data outside the UK; where they do, transfers are protected by recognised safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or adequacy regulations.

We may also disclose information where the law requires it, for example to HMRC or in response to a lawful request from the police.

Order records are kept for 6 years to meet our tax and accounting obligations. Enquiry messages, replies and any attached photos are kept for as long as needed to handle the enquiry and are also delivered to the shop's monitored mailbox. Newsletter details are kept until you unsubscribe.

This site uses essential cookies and browser storage that it needs to work, such as remembering what is in your basket, which bike you have saved for fitment filtering, and your theme preference. These do not require consent.

With your permission, we also use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used so we can improve it. Analytics cookies are only set if you accept them in the cookie banner; if you decline, none are set. You can change your mind at any time by clearing this site's cookies and site data in your browser, which will show the banner again. We do not use advertising cookies.

Under UK data protection law (UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018) you can:

• ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you;
• ask us to correct information that is wrong;
• ask us to delete information we no longer need to keep;
• object to, or ask us to restrict, how we use your information;
• withdraw consent (for example, unsubscribe from the newsletter) at any time.
